We’re a group of individuals passionate about building an inclusive and supportive community for people living with HIV.
Since we launched in 2003, MyThedaCare has been a vital resource for people living with HIV and their friends and family. We offer online resources, support groups, and events that help connect people with information, support, and opportunities.
Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where all people affected by HIV can share knowledge, experiences, advice, and love. We want to help make lives brighter for everyone who wants to be part of our community!
What We Do
MyThedaCare is a nonprofit healthcare organization that provides accessible, high-quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide comprehensive services to over 8,000 people in 28 counties throughout North Carolina.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing access to quality healthcare services and community inclusion. We accomplish this through our five pillars: integrated care, advocacy, research, training and service development.
We integrate all aspects of an individual’s life – from education and employment opportunities to health and wellness – in order to create a foundation for lifelong independence. Our team of professionals works together to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors feels valued and understood.
Our services include long-term care, respite care, home health assistance, day supports, community integration services and more. We partner with other organizations across the state to provide seamless coordinated services that support our goal of quality outcomes for all our clients.

Pricing and Plans
At MyThedaCare, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality health care. That’s why our prices are so reasonable, and we offer a variety of plans to fit everyone’s needs.
We offer three types of plans: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Bronze is the lowest tier, with discounts on monthly premiums and coinsurance. Silver provides greater discounts on premiums and coinsurance, but comes with fewer benefits. Gold offers the best combination of benefits and discounts on premiums and coinsurance, but requires members to pay more up-front in fees.
We also have a variety of add-on features that can make your coverage even more comprehensive. For example, you can add a family member or spouse to your plan, get life insurance through us, or get a pet injury insurance policy. We also offer a retirement planning service that can help you create an individualized spending plan for when you retire.
